YOUNG ADULT COUNCIL

Are you in grades 6-12? Do you want to serve, and help enrich, the Palisades Library as a member of the Young Adult Council? Do you want to gain valuable experience as a member of a committee? Do you want to earn volunteer time for school?

What the Young Adult Council does:

(A) Advises the Young Adult Librarian (me) on what books, CDs, DVDs, Graphic Novels, Manga etc. to purchase for the Palisades Branch Library.

(B) Helps select what Young Adult programs to schedule in the Palisades Branch.

(C) Meets for possible activities like book talks, film screenings, poetry readings...really anything that the council wishes do as a group.

If you are interested, please contact me (see phone # below)!

Thanks,

Henry

I don't have a lot of free time on my hands but I am interested. How much dedication does it require?

We meet once a month for about an hour. Often, we have a program during this time. If you are interested come by the library and ask for Henry.
